Track Of The Day :: Ten Fé - Overflow

Words: Ellie Ward

With their just announced debut album, 'Hit The Light', due for release on February 3 2017 through SOME KINDA LOVE / [PIAS], Ten Fé have revealed another taster single in 'Overflow'.

The London-based duo, Ben Moorhouse and Leo Duncan, have already seen previous singles ‘Make Me Better’, ‘In The Air’, ‘Elodie’ and ‘Turn’, amass over 5 millions Spotify streams, and this latest looks set to push those figures even higher.

The record's lead track ‘Overflow’ bounds along on an urgent and vibrant electronic beat; an emotional, driving, ode to love lost. Moorhouse and Duncan’s shared vocals work in with guitar and synth lines to create a lush bed of harmony through the track. This time Ben takes lead vocal, delivering the evocative, rich baritone that tells how he "waited a while for love to spark / next I know I'm in the dark”, before closing on the note that, ”love is there / so let it overflow again”.
