Fancy something a bit dark, edgy and angular? Okay, here we go. Berlin four-piece - Eddie Chebbi: vocals, keys; Lucian Busse: bass; Lars Deutrich: drums; Sascha Niemann: strings - Wichswut unveil their self-titled debut EP on February 17 via Music's Not For Everyone Records, and for five tracks of Eagulls like sharp post-punk, psych-kraut, they are sounding rather good.
Following December's two-track release, 'On The Motorway' / 'Electric Piano Eins', this vinyl and digital EP track 'Sinner' is a winner in its taught lines, ominous rhythms and the impassively delivered vocals. Sehr gut, as they say in German.
