Their 'Sufi La' EP which first saw light of day as a vinyl only Record Store Day release last month, is out on proper release on May 26 via Customs, but for now, Swet Shop Boys - the hip hop rapping duo of former Das Racist's Heems and British actor Riz Ahmed, with producer Redinho - share their first single, 'Thas My Girl'.
The EP - of all new material -leaves the political to focus on the party. 'Thas My Girl' sounds like Sugar Hill Gang inspired by Brandy and Monica's 'The Boy Is Mine'.
The trio play a one-off London date next month, alongside festival appearances. See below.
