Originally shown in the UK on the eve of what would have been David Bowie's 70th birthday back in January, the film documentary David Bowie: The Last Five Years - a companion piece to 2013's David Bowie: Five Years - will now rather belatedly will get its US airing on January 8 2018 on HBO.
Produced and directed again by Francis Whately, the film looks at Bowie's last albums, 'The Next Day' and 'Blackstar', his play Lazarus, and includes contributions from friends and colleagues and previously unseen archive footage.
