This might be a cure for insomnia - in the most complimentary way; so soothing, so peaceful is Cloud's dreamy, bedroom orchestral pop number 'Watch Your Mind Wander', you feel like you are floating literally on clouds as your mind drifts into a meditative state of calm. Easily achievable as the track is nearly ten minutes long, with the large proportion (around seven minutes) solely instrumental.
So who is Cloud and is he wandering lonely as one somewhere? The man behind the project is Los Angeles-based, East Coast native Tyler Taormina 'and friends' - which on this particular track (released last week) are Casey Jacobs on electric guitar, and Greg Salwen on acoustic guitar, plus Tyler's own quite blissful vocal.
While 'Watch Your Mind Wander' is the b-side to the lead single 'Wildfire' from his upcoming 'Plays With Fire' full-length, dropping on March 9, it does not appear on the album, so if you love it, grab it off Bandcamp now.
