Brighton's Thyla tighten their grip with new single 'I Was Biting'

Words: Ellie Ward

We don't know who or what Brighton quartet and Little Indie One To Watch 2018, Thyla, may have been biting, but they are back after last year's 'Tell Each Other Lies’ with new single, 'I Was Biting'.

According to the band the track - produced by Macks Faulkron - is about “dystopian aspects of modern society and a discontent for it.” But don't let that put you off, for 'I Was Biting' has its bite firmly clenched.

Fuzzy, reverbed guitars and thumping bass compete with Millie Duthie’s soaring vocals and 90s grunge-esque melodic rhythms, show why they are being much vaunted.
