Listen :: Yellow Days - The Way Things Change
Words: Sam Geary
Nineteen-year-old neo-soul singer-songwriter George van den Broek - aka Yellow Days - has unveiled his first new music of the year, 'The Way Things Change'.
The track follows last year's debut album 'Is Everything Okay In Your World' and comes as he embarks on shows in North America, followed by dates in UK and Europe, with every show now sold out including his biggest headline date so far at London’s Koko on May 8.
Where those early recordings suggested a psychedelic, almost ‘slacker’ take on George’s blues and reggae influences, 'The Way Things Change' sees him moving towards something more groove-based.
Listen in below.
