Thomas Azier shares the video to the melancholic, low tempo synthpop track 'Echoes', taken from his new EP ’S T R A Y', out this week via Hylas Records.

The self-produced four-track EP follows last year's second album, 'Rouge', and was written in hotel rooms in Tokyo, Kyoto, Abidjan, Berlin (his own studio), Paris, Rotterdam, Normandy, and in Friesland in Holland where the now Berlin/Paris-based, artist grew up. "The majority of it was just a laptop and a USB mic. Mixing in the sounds of the surroundings in every track was important to me this kept the music feeling real and present," he says.

The video, directed by Obi Blanche, features a performance by a puppet-player Azier befriended in Berlin called Rob Kaufmann, who 'performs' the song with his guitar.

Azier is holding an EP listening event in Berlin on July 13 at HVW8. See Facebook for details.
