Scottish alt-post-punks Not Robots? make their debut here on the four-minute 'Horizontal Healing', released at the end of August.

The four-piece from Edinburgh describe their influences as deriving from acts like Iggy Pop, The Stooges, The Damned, and the likes of the more recent IDLES. "We truly feel we have a spirit of originality, though!" says vocalist Eric.

'Horizontal Healing' rages through a fairly consistent explosion of propulsive drums, sharp, thrashing guitars and a gritty, dark vocal as one might expect with post-punk influences. Until, that is, the last minute or so when we detect they may also like a bit of out-and-out rock too.

Not Robots? play The Banshee Labyrinth, Edinburgh on September 29, followed by The Windsor Hotel, Kirkcaldy on October 6.
