Drenge 'Never See The Signs' - but we see this is the new single
Words: Ellie Ward
Drenge have got a big new shiny album - 'Strange Creatures' - coming your way on February 22, and to get your aural buds whether they have dropped a new single, 'Never See The Signs', from it.
“Our latest exploration of the pop song involves a battle re-enactment between razor sharp synthesisers and punishingly shrill guitars, set sometime in the late 1970s,” say the Lifeless brothers. “The ghosts of Italo disco mutter disapprovingly in the corner as they sip Disaronno on ice. The snare drum rattles like the tail of a desert snake with a fondness for pop gossip and internet culture. I never see the signs.”
Tune in below, then scroll on further for Drenge's in-store dates - "digitally rewired and re-engineered tracks" as 'Drenge Philharmonic - and their UK tour following those.
