Sydney's These New South Whales return with the announcement of their second album, 'I Just Do What God Tells Me To Do', which arrives up from Oz on November 8.

Before that, they give us a second taster of the record in the heartfelt, fresh punk of new single 'In the Light of Day', alongside a video that finds the band taking to their local boxing ring.

“My boxing trainer came to see us play on Easter Sunday this year and told us that we reminded him of INXS just before they blew up. We were chuffed with that, so we made him a free ad for his gym," says frontman Jamie Timony.

“When we were approaching these new recordings all we knew is that they were going to be different from our first album," he adds. "We’re interested in growth. ‘In The Light of Day’ is easily the sunniest song we have ever written. It’s punk but it’s not punk. We just did what God told us to do.”
