The sixth single release for North London outfit Idle Youth, coming after last year's 'Preface', is the four-minute 'Blue Bloods'.
Striking a balance between new wave, post-punk, shoegaze, with elements of house and dance, the track has a touch of early Depeche Mode about its synth-pop style, matched with a laid-back baritone vocal and driving guitars.
