You gotta love a band who introduces themselves with a song called 'Everything sucks and it's everyone's fault but mine' - and there is a lot to love about this debut from Baby Shower, a pop-rock-grunge threesome from Melbourne.
Together for under a year, this first outing throbs with attitude, a kick ass bass, propulsive drumming - and what a voice singer and songwriter Alison Erlanger possesses too.
"'everything sucks and it's everyone's fault but mine' is about both everything in the world sucking, and also none of it being at the fault of lifelong blameless angel Alison. It's true, she's literally never done anything wrong," the lady herself writes in a wry statement.
