Los Angeles four-piece The Paranoyds return after last year's 'Carnage Bargain' debut full-length, with a new 7": 'Pet Cemetery' (b/w 'Hotel Celebrity").
Out on November 27 via Suicide Squeeze Records, the group's Staz Lindes says of the track:
"When your honeymoon phase has the strength to extend to the underworld - 'Pet Cemetery' will be playing. If you are lucky enough to experience the type of love that feels deep enough to follow you underground with you and your lover- you know what 'Pet Cemetery' is saying. It is the ultimate love song with a message of passion strong enough for both life and afterlife.”
The ominous organ-fuelled opening, featuring the sounds of off-kilter keys alongside a darkly chugging guitar line, and expansive experiments, 'Pet Cemetery' has become a staple of their live set, resulting in a sea of zombie-fied headbang every time it’s played.
Catch The Paranoyds for a special Halloween show on October 30 at the Bob Baker Marionette Theatre, which will be available to watch for 72 hours. More info here.
