Released earlier this month, 'Face On A Face’ is the debut single by De La Love.
The indie/dub track was self-produced by drummer Seb Naylor and bassist Finn Kinsella. Initially created in home studios during the early months of the first Covid-19 lockdown, 'Face On A Face' was then later honed in Futureworks and Spirit Studios in Manchester.
Drawing on a variety of influences, from funk and jazz, to indie pop and psychedelic rock, the band’s first single is a dynamic, feel-good tune brimming with punchy vocals, groovy basslines, atmospheric guitar, and an added saxophone blended in to make for an even more innovative sound.
