Track Of The Day :: The Haunted Youth bring a 60s flavour to debut 'Teen Rebel'

The Haunted Youth make their entrance in 2021 with 'Teen Rebel'.

The Belgian three-piece, fronted by vocalist/guitarist Joachim Liebens, deliver a psych-dreamgaze swirl on this debut, released last Friday via Mayway Records.

The guitars twang and glide deliciously with a retro 60s essence, as Liebens' vocal brings the sound up to date, as he sings “Sweet teen rebel / you’re walking to the door / teen rebel / You pass out on the floor / een rebel / Always wanted something more."

The arrangement is evocative and exquisite, and sails along beautifully... so dive in.
