LIFE - formed just in January of this year - are set to release their debut single, ‘I Wanna Forget’ on Birthday Records on October 21.
The band have fast been garnering a name for themselves, featuring on national radio and on the grapevine - despite only having played a handful of shows around East London and in their hometown of Hull.
The band consists of brothers Mez and Mick and best buds Loz and Rich (some of whom played previously in BBC6 Music favourites - The Neat). Their style is all about wild shirts, leather jackets and singing loosely about babes with an emphasis, in their own words, on the softness of cool.
'I Wanna Forget' has that dirty New York urgency of early Strokes/Ramones, full of catchy guitar hooks and pop-poem lyrics. Watch the video below of the single.
