Parquet Courts Team Up For Live Shows As PCPC

Parquet Courts share a live video recorded back in July at Sugar Hill Supper Club in Bedford Stuyvesant of the 'Bodies Made Of' track from their 'Sunbathing Animal' album.

The band also announce they will be joining up with Brooklyn's PC Worship to form a 'supergroup' called PCPC for a run of gigs this autumn.

Parquet’s Andrew Savage: "Like P-Funk, MinuteFlag, Ciccone Youth, Loutallica and Red House Chili Painters (bet you didn’t know about that one), PCPC is what happens when two legendary rock juggernauts join forces. In this instance, members of PC Worship and Parquet Courts have merged into a NY noise-rock confederacy, each band bringing their own sonic distinctions. Spawning from a long history of playing shows together as separate entities, PCPC is born out of an aesthetic solidarity, and will to create something new. Look for them this Fall in select cities throughout USA and Europe."

The live dates are listed below, including supports for Thurston Moore. Parquet Courts have asked that they be listed as "Parkay Quarts" on some dates.
