‘From Eden’ is the latest single to be taken from Hozier’s critically acclaimed and incredibly stunning debut album, which reached the UK Top 5 upon release.
Already extremely popular in his native Ireland, Hozier has given some notable performances in the US on the Ellen Show, and the Late Show with David Letterman, as well as here in the UK on Later With Jools Holland, and sold out shows just about everywhere.
‘From Eden’ is an upbeat track that showcases many of the fundamental elements that define Hozier as an artist, including his beautiful guitar melodies, his trademark soulful voice, and the impressive songwriting talents that he possesses. Together, these traits create simply beautiful songs that resonate with people globally. This track features heavy blues influences that Hozier has drawn from, which also feature strongly throughout the album. Overall, ‘From Eden’ is a rich single that reflects the album and highlights the features that have resulted in Hozier becoming a stand-out singer/songwriter of his generation.
