Keep On Track :: High Tide 15:47
This Newcastle trio could be a new name to keep in mind if their debut single 'Shade Of Blue' (released the week before Christmas) from their upcoming self-titled debut EP due this month is anything to go by.
Following their dropping of first demo 'Too Much Time Alone' early last year, High Tide 15:47's shoegaze fuzz sound has started to get them known locally, and building on support slots with the likes of Eagulls, Wolf Alice and Speedy Ortiz, and picking up votes in the Evolution Emerging Festival which showcases the best of the new artists in the North-East.
New single 'Shade Of Blue' - mixed by Mick Ross (Minotaurs, ex-Frankie & The Heartstrings - is an impressive four-and-a-half minute sonic palette first debut of swirling guitars that revolve around Steven Gordon's understated vocals - the last 90 seconds becoming quite transcendent.
High Tide 15:47 are: Steven Gordon- vocals/guitar, Nick Hodgson - bass, Dan Murray - drums.
