Further Additions Announced For Flufferfest
Flufferfest have announced further names taking part in the weekend festival at London's Shacklewell Arms.
Kagoule, Desert Mountain Tribe and Cannibal Animal now join previously announced Loom, Love Buzzard, The Telescopes, Demob Happy, dressmaker and more.
Taking place between May 22 - 24 2015, the event is run by independent UK label Fluffer Records. Kicking off the long weekend are Fluffer Record’s first signing and brutal disco-garage duo, Love Buzzard, supported by hyped noise rockers, Dressmaker. Both are currently responsible for what some people are calling the loudest and most exciting live shows in London.
On Saturday grunge rockers and co-founders of Raft Records, LOOM headline above a showcase of new garage and psych bands making waves around the UK, including Fluffer’s very own Sewer Rats, riot rock from Grimsby, loud enough to raise the dead. USA Nails bring their own blend of kraut/noise whilst Terminal Gods promise a wave of machine beats and a hurricane of dry ice. Bands such as Riddles, The Night Jars, Baba Naga and H. Grimace keep the 3 day epic deeply rooted in psych-rock, as has come to be expected from infamous Fluffer Records.
Sunday sees a powerhouse line-up including The Telescopes and Demob Happy, all providing the crème de la crème of modern garage rock whilst M!R!M and Bonfire Nights break up the noise with more laid back, transcendental Sunday vibes.
Flufferfest will also be curating an acoustic line-up for the Shacklewell Arms beer garden for those looking to rest their ears between the wall of feedback inside.
‘Shake A Fist: Vol 2’, a limited edition double cassette, featuring 30 of the very best in up and coming garage/punk and psych from across the UK, can be pre-ordered via Bandcamp.
