We featured the experimental electronica lead track 'Lavender' last December by Glasgow-based producer Jon Cooper, aka Turtle. Now with his second five-track EP 'Colours' imminent, he has shared a new track 'Silent Weapons'.
'Silent Weapons' layers subtle beats with soft vocal and melodic beauty, climaxing with an atmospheric build reminiscent of his earlier work with 'Lavender'.
His debut EP, 'Who Knows', saw Cooper draw comparisons with the likes of Jon Hopkins, SOHN and Thom Yorke; his recent reworking of Lyla Foy, Phoria and Khushi, have also earned him a reputation as an impressive remixer.
'Colours' is out on May 11 via Beatnik Creative.
