Field Day 2015 Reveal Fifth Wave Of Artists

Field Day have announced their fifth wave of confirmed acts for this year's festival which takes place at Victoria Park, East London on Saturday June 6 and Sunday June 7.

Luka, Tropics, Matthew E. White, Beach Baby, Gengahr and Yak are amongst the new names added. 2014 Mercury nominees Jungle will be hosting their own DJ bandstand at Field Day this year. They've hand-picked some of their favourite artists in order to curate an eclectic line up of DJ sets, which so far includes Jungle, Beaty Heart, Django Django, Oceaán, Shura, Tei Shi, XL DJs and more special guests still to be announced.

Field Day Sunday's line-up will include Virginian soul maverick Matthew E White, who recently released his brilliant second album 'Fresh Blood' via Domino. He will be performing alongside newly-reformed seminal shoegazers RIDE, as well as the iconic Patti Smith & her band (performing her 1975 ground-breaking album 'Horses'), Savages, Mac DeMarco, Gaz Coombes, Hookworms, Allah-Las, Viet Cong, DIIV, Eagulls and many more.

Confirmed for the Verity stage on Sunday are multi-instrumentalist Jacco Gardner with his Sixties' baroque pop and toy town psych, fast-rising indies Gengahr, vintage rockers Leopold and His Fiction, London psych rock trio Yak, as well as the buzzy club-pop act Nimmo and new alt-pop London four-piece Beach Baby.
