Track Of The Day :: Leisure - Flight

Hackney-based Leisure made in-roads with their debut single 'Tourist' in 2013, now the quartet have joined forces with acclaimed electronic producer Scrimshire on their latest release.

Out today (May 18), is both their three-track EP, ‘Falling’, as well as its lead single 'Flight'. Following on from the recent 'Mexico', 'Flight' may be their best work to date. Chilled alt-pop/RnB textures, upbeat, bass heavy vibe, and vocalist Beth Horak-Hallett’s delivering the ultimate in striking 80s-fusion vocals -somewhere between Jessie Ware and Only Girl - as she sings, “I’ve been riding for this fall all my life,” against an electronic backdrop of synths and sparkling guitars.

Leisure play an EP launch show on May 25 at London's Shacklewell Arms.
