Listen :: Wild Pacific

Featured back in February in our Hot Tracks weekly round-up with 'This Place', Washington garage-surf trio Wild Pacific have since dropped a further two tracks from their upcoming 'Stacy St. Clair' debut EP, due for release this summer.

Slacker vocals woven around plenty of guitar riffs, and minimalist synth, are the order of play on 'Shoreline' and 'Feelings'. Daniel Riley roughens up the vocal delivery against the catchy surf beat and shimmery guitars; whilst 'Feelings' takes a sharper, more frenetic pace - and a few Shadows' riffs.

The band formed during the summer of 2014 when Daniel Riley (vocals / lead guitar) abandoned the dormitory life of Washington State University and returned to his hometown of Spokane, where he hooked up with Ryan Nick (percussion) and Daniel Kinne (vocals / rhythm guitar) and Wild Pacific was duly born in a basement rehearsal space.
