Watch :: The Libertines Live Debut New Track 'Gunga Din'

Playing their headlining set last night (June 19) at the Best Kept Secret festival in the Netherlands, The Libertines debuted a new song 'Gunga Din' (erroneous title on video).

Announced by Peter Doherty, saying: “I said we should play some new songs but they said we shouldn’t play any ’til the album comes out. We’re going to give you one but it’s got to be a secret. Put your phones off and we’ll see how it turns out.”

Obviously not all in the crowd took his orders, and you can hear the band performing the song above via fan footage.

The Libertines reformed last year, signing to Virgin EMI and announcing plans for a third album to be released this year - which will be their first since their self-titled record of 2004.
