Released last Friday (via LAB Records), The New Coast have dealt a winner with this quite lush debut, ‘Lost In Your Love’, which was co-produced by Scott Verrill (aka KYKO - see our New Sounds #34).
The indie pop duo - Nick Blyth and Chris Cheater - may be centred in east-London, but the feel here is of wide-open spaces and big skylines more associated with the American cinema and pop culture, that the pair admit deriving inspiration from, as shimmering guitars and flowing synths create a hazy glow with soaring vocals and rich harmonies.
