'The First Act' follows 'Bury Me' as the second track from London-based Northerners ISLES' double A-side single.
The four Goldsmiths students blend art school sensitivities with a melancholic pop sound. 'The Last Act', whilst containing a dreamy vibe, is carried by an upbeat melody accompanied by sprightly guitars and ambient drums, and perfectly fronted by Amber's dulcet vocal lead.
Isles are: Amber-Rose Price - vocals, Miles Sayer - bass, Luke Cartledge - guitar, Oliver Wareham - drums.
Isles play Manchester's Night And Day Café on July 9, followed by Hare & Hounds, Birmingham on July 23.
