Words: Linn Branson
Back in early 2015 when Little Indie first introduced Ist Ist we said they were something of a mystery. Even more apt now as all three tracks we included in the feature have since been removed.
Fast forward to 2018 and five singles on, the Manchester three-piece - Adam Houghton (vocals, guitar, keys), Andy K (bass), Joel Kay (drums) - are just getting around to releasing their debut EP 'Spinning Rooms' on April 6.
"We're still very much a band with a DIY ethic but are outselling touring bands, all without label or management support," Andy tells Little Indie. "We feel as though this EP is a genuine statement of intent and showcases perfectly where we are as a band right now."
You can hear for yourselves with the video for one of the EP tracks, 'Preacher's Warning', below.
