Released earlier this month, Sunderland sextet Social Room's new single 'Let's Talk', produced by Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), is, as Mr Stewart himself says, "a perfect platform for the singer Matty Smith to deliver his authoritative vocals with a panache and swagger usually seen on arena size stages by the masters of rock and roll.”
Though 'Let’s Talk' is not big in a boisterous way, it demonstrates its pensive authority in its lyrics and intensity. As with 'Be Forever Mine' which Little Indie featured back in 2016, there's a controlled determination in the Social Room style.
Likewise, their videos, which are always worth a watch.
