Produced once again by (the ubiquitous) MJ of Hookworms, 'Opaque' is the new single from Dose, the Newcastle-based outfit Little Indie featured here in interview in February upon the release of their debut single, 'Furniture'.
Released at the end of April via A Turntable Friend label, 'Opaque' shows the band delving more into their love of experimentation, as the four and a half minute track opens on an ominous tone, drawing in as it progresses a gripping array of dark, spoken vocals and layer upon layer of hypnotic rhythms, reverb and alternating guitar lines.
Dose play the O2 Academy stage at Hit The North Festival in Newcastle tomorrow (May 6).
