Fronted by the melodic voice of Katie Heap, 'Mother' is the debut delivery from Leeds-based sextet Talkboy.
Produced by Alex Greaves (The Orielles, TRASH), and released earlier this week, layers of hazy vocal harmonies complement the shift between joyful waves of the crashing chorus and sweet vintage soundscapes.
Talkboy play Wharf Chambers, Leeds on August 19 for Lazy Sunday Afternoon (with others).
