NZ's Wax Chattels share cinematic visuals to 'Career'
Words: Ellie Ward
First heard back in early 2018 with 'In My Mouth', Auckland, New Zealand no-wave, low key post-punk trio Wax Chattels followed the same year with their self-titled debut album, released via Flying Nun Records and Captured Tracks.
Still paying good, from that same record the band now share another of its tracks, along with a video.
Directed by Dylan Pharazyn, the dark, cinematic visuals to 'Career' accompany the song's lyrics thatare, they say, "about women sacrificing youth, mental and physical health for success."
