New London one-day festival Wide Awake to launch in September

After it was unfortunately forced to abandon last year's launch, Wide Awake festival has announced its revised plans.

The one-day event is now set to take place on Friday September 3 in London's Brockwell Park. Tickets from £29.50 are on sale now here.

First artists revealed on the line-up include black midi, Daniel Avery, Tinariwen, Dream Wife, A Certain Ratio, Crack Cloud, Scalping, Songhoy Blues and Tropical Fuck Storm, with more names to be announced.

“We’re incredibly excited to finally be able to bring this very special show to London this September,"Marcus Weedon, Wide Awake Organiser and Founder of Jam Today says. "It’s been a tough year for everyone, not least the festival and event industry, and we have been working very hard to ensure Wide Awake is brilliantly curated with the safety of everyone at the forefront. We cannot wait to open our gates and welcome both fans and artists in what is going to be an incredibly special event this year.”
